on the first picture i can see that trees on the other side of wall are more interesting, not so dry as where the girl's standing, and this image has a nice composition too..
i like this blue dot of cap that the girl's wearing.I focused my eyes first on that.

and the second image is ghost-like
thoug it's very colourful and pied.
But i like the first one most.

Thank you both. One of my favourite books and Dickon must be Pan. I love how the transformation of the garden is also the transformation of the sickly Colin. Love these illustrations too.

Such a very talented illustrator, she remind me of Angela Barrett a little, the way she captures atmosphere.

Thank you Acornmoon. I love Angela's sense of humour and the colours and movement in her works, but Inga creates a world I would love to enter.
