lovely! Reminds me of an old book i had in my childhood. It was about a lion...and a horse,i have them in my mind's eyes...and that lion was very much in character of this one here...
Natalis, that sounds a bit like one of the Narnia books, if the horse was actually a donkey. I am just about to post about Iceland Poppies, one of my favourite plants. I did wonder if this was an allusion to the power of Poppies to induce sleep ?
Herm-no, it was not Narnia series- it was a short story about lion's pride and horse's wisdom. i remember moral...something like " strenght without wisdome is fatal..." :) i just remember the lion was very similar in both pictures :)
