I do love the way she builds up a scene and you feel you could just step into it.

i remember when my mother was working in bookstore, this was one of my first storys to read when i was 5...lovely, good memories :)

There is something very magical and comforting about Wind in the Willows.
Beautiful illustration. I would love to live in Badgers home. Very cosy!:)

I think these are wonderful illustrations but disappointed that it is yet again abridged, I presume leaving out the beautiful chapter on Pan, which is an essential part of nature that he was trying to convey.
