BBC Radio Cornwall's David White visits the Three Wishes Faery Festival Really fun. Wish I had been there. I was invited to talk here a few years ago but recommended a friend instead.
These videos were great fun to watch! I think I would like to visit the Three Wishes Faery Festival.:) It is a shame we don't have a festival like that near Bath in the summer time. Somewhere like Bradford-on-Avon would be a good venue!:) I still have not seen the second part of the Desperate Romantics that was on last night. I must see it tonight! Jo.x
I think Glastonbury would be better Joanne, I've been to several good talk on faery's there. Though Frome has several faery witches if that is the right term. I was asked to talk about British faery folklore. I published an article on faery's at the bottom of the garden in Kindred Spirit some years ago. I recommended my friend Sally Morningstar as she writes and talks as a living whereas I'm just an interested amateur.
Glastonbury is probably a better venue for a fairy convention!:) I use to read Kindred Spirit quite a lot. We use to sell the magazine when I worked in a New Age shop called Arcania, in Bath. That was quite a few years ago now!
Oh really! Wow it is a small world I probably served you the incense.:) I worked there in the early days of Arcania, (often downstairs) when New Age was really popular. It is still in Union Passage and has not changed that much except the bookshop upstairs is closed, which I think is a shame as it was a good bookshop. I have long red hair but so did Catherine who use to work there. She was the manager. I don't know if you remember or saw us there? It was a fun place work. Happy memories!:)
Hi Joanna, I remember the book shop upstairs and a man who looked after that as I spent a lot of time browsing. I ought to remember a pretty red-head but I can't at the moment. I don't go to Bath much now (unless you count the RUH!) but I'm glad its still going. I do go to Glastonbury when I can as its only half an hour from me.

I remember Arcania - used to buy books and incense in there when I worked in Bath (near Green Park Station and later in Gay Street).
