I adore all JMK's illustrations that you feature. Although they are familiar I must admit I hadn't heard of JMK before. Is she a bit like Aubrey Beardsley in style? (This may be a silly ignorant comparison)
Not as well known as she should be, a bit like Aubrey in her use of line but softer and not so weird. I had a Japanese catalogue of an exhibition of his that made me wonder at his sanity.

I have her book "Seven Happy Days" which I bought in her home town of Kirkudbright. It is lovely I think, so delicate and decorative.
Envy. Her work is so fine.
