Another spooky one. I'm not sure if I should be afraid for the woman, sorry for her or afraid *of* her. The picture even implores the viewer to take the story from many angles. Also, very reminiscent of Lady MacBeth's famous "spot" monologue. But what of the hound? Friend or foe? Loyal or, well, dog? I wonder what colors would have been used if the artist had decided against the blacks and grays? Maybe that decision was made in order to force the viewer to develop their own story?
This post intrigues me! I am so glad I found your blog.
